Volunteers are essential to our mission of assisting the people of Forsyth & Dawson counties with essential needs and to be self-sustaining.
We couldn’t do it without you!
TYPE OF VOLUNTEER WORK AVAILABLE:
Sorting & hanging clothes, shoes, accessories
and home goods in Thrift Store Warehouse
Merchandising & organizing at The Thrift Store
Sorting, organizing & packaging nonperishable
food items in Food Pantry or Warehouse
REQUIRES standing, bending & lifting items up to 25lbs
Please note: Minimum age to volunteer is 14. All volunteers 14-15 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.

Monday – Saturday
9:00am – 4:00pm
Dawson location:
829 GA 9 North, Dawsonville, GA 30534
Closed Mondays
Tuesday – Saturday
9:00am – 4:00pm
WHAT TO WEAR
Closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothing that is not too baggy, modest shorts, no tank tops and minimal jewelry. For your safety, sandals and flip flops cannot be worn in our warehouses.
If you would like to bring a lunch or a snack, we have a refrigerator and break room.

You will receive a Welcome email including New Volunteer orientation from the Volunteer Coordinator before you can sign up for a volunteer shift.
